Community Bridges in Tucson

CBI takes an all-encompassing, cohesive strategy to address matters of addiction and mental wellness. Factoring in every individual’s features and circumstances, a tailored treatment program is being created. The approaches used include guidance, therapy, housing, drugs, peer support, and encouragement as well as other helpful resources; never a generic solution.

The committed and enthusiastic staff of CBI, comprising medical and behavioral health experts, all have a shared outlook that prioritizes attending to the needs of the communities. Their goal to preserve the worth of human life propels them to become proponents of progress in the neighborhoods.

At CBI, many of the staff members have also experienced similar situations as you. Peers play a major role in the company and are well-equipped to help guide you on your journey toward healing. Individual care is given to patients who need it when they require it; this is the most crucial element peers provide. Furthermore, they offer daily help, encouragement, education, and aid with treatment.

Recovery Is Possible

At CBI, they believe that everyone deserves a chance to lead a healthy and fulfilling life, which is why they’re dedicated to providing high-quality care that addresses each person’s unique needs. Their ultimate goal is to help you achieve lasting sobriety, mental wellness, and a sense of hope for the future. Most importantly, they know what it takes to thrive in recovery. They have faced their demons and won, and now they want to help others do the same. They are passionate about helping others find sobriety and achieve their goals in life. They want to see others succeed where they once failed.

Community Bridges provides many services to help those in need. These services include helping with food, clothing, and shelter. They also provide counseling and job training. Community Bridges is a great organization that helps many people every year. By helping those in our community who are struggling, we can make our community a better place for everyone.

Substance Use Care

An integrated approach to addiction treatment is utilized; this strategy takes into account the individual’s distinct characteristics and problems in order to customize a treatment plan. The support services they provide to people living with mental illness are never a one-size fits all solution. These include education, therapy, housing options, and medication. Their solutions are tailored to each individual’s needs and they search for inspiration in order to empower them with hope.

Under medical supervision, detoxing is the initial phase of rehabilitation. CBI supports its patients in both inpatient and outpatient programs as they cope with the extreme physical effects of alcohol/drug withdrawal. Depending on the person and the addictive substance, medical protocols have been established to help people gradually reduce their intake of these toxins.

Detoxification in a medically supervised environment is essential due to the physical intensity and medical risk of withdrawal from alcohol and opiates. Detox is the first step in treatment, no matter what type of substance is involved—be it street drugs like heroin and crack, or prescription medications. A supportive system must be in place throughout the process.

Achieving success in overcoming addiction requires a nurturing environment, medical and psychological aid, along with the support of peers to assist in transitioning into a life free from drugs and alcohol.

Peer Navigators: A Helping Hand From People In Recovery

CBI has Peer Navigators available 24/7 to give assistance and guidance to those in need. These Navigators have personal experience dealing with mental health and substance abuse, making them ideally suited to help patients.

Peer Navigators are essential to the daily and emergency support services. They provide patients with the care they require at the moment it’s needed most. Peers offer encouragement, instruction, and assistance throughout their recovery process, whether during a critical situation or for daily aid.

Peer Navigators of CBI, who have achieved success in their own recovery process, are exceptionally capable of guiding and supporting the patients through their path back to wellness and independence.

Women and Children

CBI is committed to providing gender-specific, holistic treatment programs for women because they believe that these programs lead to better outcomes for women. By taking a holistic approach to treatment, CBI is able to address the unique needs of each woman in order to help her achieve her treatment goals. This tailored approach has helped many women overcome their addictions and go on to lead happy and healthy lives. CBI provides a number of integrated physical and behavioral health services that lead to fuller community involvement and recovery. These services include counseling, psychiatric services, case management, and more. By providing these services, CBI helps individuals in the community to recover and live fuller lives. Women and children who are at risk of experiencing physical, sexual, and psychological trauma and violence can benefit from programs that are specifically designed to address these issues. These programs can provide women and children with the support they need to heal from past traumas and prevent future ones from occurring.

Veterans

The mission of CBI is to enable Veterans to achieve permanent housing and income stability, as well as foster meaningful connections and community participation. Through comprehensive services, these objectives are achieved in order to create a thriving environment for the Veteran community.

The BI deploys a team of Peer Navigators to do street outreach in search of Veterans who want a new way of life. Vets may volunteer to transition to temporary and then permanent housing, via the Bridge system. The Bridge system provides veterans with access to housing resources and support so they can find a safe place to live. The Peer Navigators team helps connect veterans with the resources they need to make this transition successfully.

Supportive Housing

At CBI, the strategy to fight homelessness is to get people off of the streets and into permanent housing as promptly as possible. This provides a base from which they can concentrate on regaining their strength and concentrating on the necessities of daily life.

The street outreach teams search every day with a specific focus to identify people who habitually are homeless. Generally, these individuals have concurrent issues such as mental disabilities, dependency on drugs or alcohol, and physical ailments.

24-Hour Access To Care

CBI operates a 24-hour helpline to provide aid to people and their families in times of crisis. Their No Wrong Door policy enables them to accept any patient aged 18 or above, regardless of financial situation, through a 24-hour intake process.

Their teams are highly trained to de-escalate emotionally charged situations and maintain the dignity of each patient. In times of vulnerability, they know precisely how to support those who are seeking treatment. This allows patients to feel safe and comfortable during their time of need.
